We are also NPIP certified and can legally ship all of our birds across State borders. With that in mind you can rest assured that transporting your birds won’t end at your State line. Our Story
Georgia Ostrich Farm was started in 2023 by Stefan Kuehnert. After having chickens for several years, Stefan decided to try something different and ordered a some baby peacocks. Unfortunately, the pea fowl did not survive and wasn’t available for re-order in Spring 2023. So Stefan started some research on other birds and stumbled over the ostriches. Further research concluded a potential business option and great niche market. After visiting several farms and studying ostriches, Stefan began to build the first 2 pens in his backyard and purchased 10 ostrich chicks and 2 breeding trios. The birds arrived end of July 2023 and a great story began…..
